My name is Cemre, pronounced GEM-RAY.

I hail from Turkey and Finland, and currently live in San Francisco.

I co-founded Branch.com with Josh and Hursh in 2011. These days I work at the Browser Company.

For my thesis project I created a system to generate data sculptures from one's travels over time. Take a look at the presentation or check out more pictures.

A little online tool I made to generate treemap visualizations based on travel histories gathered from TripIt. Check it out here →

This project was featured in the TripIt Blog and .net magazine, among others.

I had a view of the midtown skyline when I moved into my loft in Brooklyn, which was later blocked by an ugly condo building. I protested. Local blogs picked it up.

A Kinect-based projection installation I made for a Burning Man fundraiser party in San Francisco.
